“Fire And Glory From On High”

    May 6, 2018

“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”  (Lk 24:49)

This was the command of Jesus as He was getting ready to ascend back into Heaven. This being the fortieth day since His resurrection, He has now opened their eyes to the scriptures teaching them that it behooved the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance and remission of sin should be preached to all nations (see Lk 24:45-47).

They were uncertain as to what exactly was going to happen but they worshipped Jesus and returned to Jerusalem with great Joy and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God (see Lk 24:52-53).

As we approach the celebration of Pentecost (May 20, 2018), may the Fire and Glory of God refresh and rejuvenate you. May revival of the Holy Ghost set your hearts ablaze to the Glory of God burning up the chaff of all worry, doubt, fear, worldliness, unbelief, and everything that separates you from the plan of God.

It’s time to Glorify the King. Let Your Holy Fire and Glory fall on us Jesus. Remove the dross of weariness, fatigue, and indifference. Nothing can separate us from Your Love for us. May we let nothing separate You from our love. Holy Ghost keep the passion always burning in our hearts for God so that we never wax cold in our pursuit of Him. May everything we do in life be for the Glory of God.

“Whoever says he abides in Him ought [as a personal debt] to walk and conduct himself in the same way in which He walked and conducted Himself.” (I Jn 2:6 AMP)
